Meeting Announcement

Om May 10 2008 there will be a meeting of the New England Chapter of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers.

The Meeting will take place at the Arlington Campus of the North Bennett Street School 60 Lowell Street, Arlington, MA

The general meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately 1 hr. A tour of The  Old Schwamb Mill  http://www.oldschwambmill.org/ is being arranged.

A demonstration and possible visit to another location is being arranged

Jae Ewart has volunteered to be the new Northeast Chapter coordinator.
Jae is currently a student in his final semester at North Bennet Street School and I will be helping until he graduates in May and is able to devote more time to the chapter business.

There are a few events in the planning stages and we would be also interested in anyone who would be able to host and/or demonstrate a topic of their choosing. Please bring your ideas to the meeting.

We will post further information and directions as it becomes available.
