Friday Tours: Tour group selections must be made in the Ticketing section at the bottom of this page. Participants may purchase two tickets to accommodate a guest.
(1) Visit a nearby 18th century James River Plantation filled with amazing museum quality American furniture. These tours will be conducted by Ralph Harvard and retired Chipstone American Furniture editor Luke Bekerdite.
(2) Colonial Williamsburg Tours: behind the scenes look at the Anthony Hay Cabinetmakers' Shop and the Booker Tenement (led by Bill Pavlak and Brian Weldy), along with an up-close examination of wooden artifacts, upholstery conservation, and specific furniture pieces from the storage labs with Tara Chicirda, Chris Swan, and Sarah Towers. To close the day, we will have a private tour of the Geddy Foundry featuring casting, engraving, and silversmith work, with an emphasis on 18th century hardware.
Enjoy an informal Barbecue dinner buffet at the nearby Old City BBQ. Price is $40 (covers food only - drinks may be purchased at the event). Selections must be made in the Ticketing section at the bottom of this page. Participants who wish to bring a guest should purchase two tickets. Maximum of 50 people.
NOTE: Please enter contact information for the guest, not the member, so they can be contacted directly. If you would like to register multiple guests please contact the registrar.
Notes:
1) SAPFM uses PayPal to process all credit card transactions. However, you do NOT need a PayPal account to complete payment, you can choose to enter card information instead of logging in. PayPal will not retain your card information once the transaction is processed.
2) If you choose the offline (i.e., check) payment option, the check should be mailed no later than one week prior to the conference.
