Class opening with Al Breed
« on: September 07, 2019, 08:04:22 PM »

I had to withdraw from an incredible upcoming class with the master maker and Cartouche winner Al Breed.  I wanted to let folks know that there is an opening for Al's Townsend four draw chest class on Oct. 9 - 14, 2019.  This will be truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone to learn from one of the finest period furniture makers anywhere.  The piece is a Townsend and Goddard mid eighteenth century block front chest. Al measured the example from a Townsend original and provides full size plans.
I really hope that I can help Al since I had to withdraw due to work issues beyond my control but felt that this is not really fair after making the commitment months ago.  So I am taking the liberty of posting this, hoping that I can fulfill my obligation if someone takes my place.
It's a amazing piece and I greatly regret missing this.  I've been trying to get up to Al's NH shop for many years.

Here's photos and all the info …..
