The SF Bay Area SAPFM chapter is planning a day trip to the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco on Saturday, November 5th. We will meet at the museum at 10AM and plan to tour the furniture scattered throughout the permanent collection until noon or 1PM (depending on interest).

Regular admission to the museum is $10. If we can get a count ahead of time we can arrange a group rate of about $8 / person, assuming we get a minimum of 10 people. If you can't commit to sign up ahead of time, no problem, just show up and pay the regular admission price.

A few highlights of the furniture collection include the following:
- a spectacular marquetry table attributed to Andre Charles Boulle.
- a good collection of extremely fine 18th century French furniture.
- A good sprinking of English / Dutch / European period furniture
- Some 18th century carved/panelled rooms

It will be great fun to tour the collection w/ a group of furniture-philes. Please join us. You can reserve your spot for the group rate or get more information by contacting SFBayAreaSAPFM@GMail.com.
