I have signed us up for a booth at The Woodworkers Shows. If you have something to display or demonstrate or just want to hang out in the booth let me know. The show is in Shakopee this year.

SAPFM at The Woodworking Shows, Twin Cities

We did a three day stint at The Woodworking Shows held at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota this past weekend. Demonstrators were Jeff Hand, Steve Schwabacher, Nick Stahlman, Jim Campbell, Tom Howard, Dean Jansa and myself. Dean lead an on going demonstration on making dovetailed boxes with sliding lids (for nail storage) and helped people cut their own first dovetails. I made a small blanket chest using hand tools and whole number ratios. We also demonstrated sharpening and toolmaking.  It was a fun get together for us and I know many people got something out of a visit to our booth.
