The Society's annual challenge is open for 2026 through December 31. Three makers are recognized, one in each category, and their work runs in Pins & Tales.
To enter, open the Makers Challenge page on Bench, choose Enter a project, then pick your piece and its category. A piece you put in the Gallery earlier this year can be entered the same way. If your piece isn't in the Gallery yet, enter it first, then submit it from My Projects. The Challenge page shows only what is in the Gallery.
