Phil Lowe Films for Exhibition The Furniture of Nathaniel Gould

In conjunction with the Peabody Essex Museum, 2005 Cartouche recipient Phil Lowe has been making making  replica pieces of furniture in Luther Sampson's joiners shop.

A largely intact woodworking shop dating from the latter half of the 18th century, Sampson's shop was only recently re-discovered on the grounds of the Berrybrook School in Duxbury, MA.

Filming Lowe will allow PEM to not only exhibit furniture made Nathan Gould, but also to showcase the process of making furniture in the 18th century.
