Reproduction of a Seymour Tambour Desk with inlayed Tambour.
The original, by John Seymour, was made circa 1793-1796 in Boston, MA.
It is now in the collection at the Winterthur Museum, Delaware.

Plans by Robert Millard were used.

The robins egg blue shade of water-based paint was color matched to the light blue baize writing surface, which was produced in Great Britain.

The hardware is from Horton Brasses and Londonderry Brasses.

The finish is a French polished shellac.
