I received the following request for information and am hoping a Windsor aficionado will reply directly to James.

"I am looking for the name of a chair maker in the Sandwich, MA area (perhaps 1700-1800's?) who had a unique way of making good solid joints without glue.

There was an article about him years ago (possibly Yankee magazine) that also related to a modern-day chair maker who was attempting to recreate the same chair, moved to Sandwich (or thereabouts), and through sheer coincidence,  ended up owning the same house as the original chair maker!

If you have any information about either the original chair maker, the modern-day fellow, or where this article was published, please contact me via email: james@lie-nielsen.com"

Thank you!

James Hodson
