I thought our Fall meeting was one of our best. I would like to thank all the presenters for a job well done and a thank you for all who attended.
Bruce Beck for his report on the Mid-Summer Conference.
Bill Vetter gave a great presentation on wood movement and had some very challenging  questions for the membership.
Dan Reahard demonstrated gadrooning with his usual expertise.
John Fitzpatrick and Mike Holden gave a well prepared demo on stop fluting methods. Both manually and by routers technique.
Chad Staton gave a wonderful and entertaining presentation on hand cut compound dovetail box construction.
Ed Stuckey and Dale Ausherman demoed the techniques and tools to measure furniture for reproduction.
Jim Crammond, one of our resident hand tool expert, gave a great presentation on spoke shaves and drawknife's.
Pat Kelly, one or our newest members, showed different restoration and finishing techniques on his and his wife's antique collection. It was very informative.
A special thanks to members, Dick Kammerer who brought his beautiful table, Ralph Babcock who brought his laptop writing desk, and Dan Reahard for bringing one of his Queen Anne chairs. It is nice to see other members work and appreciate their skills.
It was a pleasure listening to all the presentation. We had a good time and lot of laughs and hopefully learned something.
Our next meeting on April 28-29, 2012 looks like another good one.
I will post some pictures.
