Phil Lowe Featured Furniture Maker at Fall Chapter Meeting

The Lone Star Chapter hosted Phil Lowe at its fall meeting, October 23 and 24, for a seminar on Queen Anne chair making.  22 members participated in the workshop as Phil demonstrated layout and cutout of chair parts and their joints.  Over the 2-day weekend we watched in amazement as Phil very nearly completed the chair.  He probably would have finished, all except for final scraping, but the second day was cut short by two hours due the schedule of Woodcraft Store workshop we were using.  It was a very inspiring class and we hope to have Phil back to Texas again soon.
