I am trying to find someone here in the states or over the pond that manufactures brass stamped cornices to go above the window treatment.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,

You didn't specify if this is for an interior or exterior application. I assume it is for interior. If so, are you looking for a valence or a brass rod that will hold the curtain? I did a quick search and this is all I could find for a stamped brass valence http://www.rubylane.com/shops/heirloomtraditions/item/SH3365 . There are quite a few results that show antique cornices that are or were available at auction.

Mark
Thanks for keeping me straight. I need to specify a little more about what I am looking for:  I am hunting stamped brass cornices to go on the top of draperies inside the residence like you would find in some of the early plantation homes. I am hoping to find someone that reproduces some that have flowers, scrolls and such and are not straight stamped moulding style  designs. Something with curves and shapes across the top and bottom. I hope that makes it a little easier to understand.
                                                                      Thanks alot,   Mike

Mike,

It sounds like you are looking for a repousse artist. I don't know any personally, but here is one that does fine work.
