The Flare Foot

SAPFM The front feet appear to project past the front of the chest? How is this accomplished?
HEADLEY The skirt below the bottom rail runs to the side with a 45-degree angle cut on the ends. A piece is glued to the face of the foot with a 45-degree angle to match. This piece is already cut to shape both on the front and side and then glued on. This piece also covers the slot for the wedging of the foot.
