SAPFM Do you need to take any particular precautions when inserting the wedge into the foot slot?
HEADLEY Yes, before inserting the wedge I first cut the notch for the inlaid banding and then I clamp a block above the slot for the foot wedge to stop any splitting as you push the wedge into the slot.
