SAPFM How did you create the drawer blade profile?
HEADLEY I had a few of the originals to go by. If not I would have drawn out something pleasing to the eye on half the rail and transfer it by a pattern to the other side. I should add that the original chest sides have a dovetail cut on the tops of the sides and then the top is slid on from the front to the back. I made mine like this but I feel it is susceptible to breaking the edge. So I took the liberty of dovetailing the top rail and center and back rails down into the sides (fig. 11).
