SAPFM What do you use to create the dados for the dust boards?
HEADLEY I used a dado blade.

SAPFM How do you determine how deep the dado should be?
HEADLEY The depth of the dado for the dust dividers would not need to be very deep compared to the depth of the half dovetail for the rails. The dust dividers are not structural except to hold up you drawers. They just need to be kept from falling out, 3/8” to ½” at most. The depth of the half dovetail is more of a structural component so they should be as deep as you can get them without compromising the chest sides. You don’t want to chip out the side while cutting the dovetail with your chisel.
