SAPFM What is your finishing process?
DAVIS I apply a heavy
cut spit coat followed by cut shellac?
SAPFM Do you Brush or Spray?
DAVIS The shellac is brushed on. I still need to
rub it out and knock off a bit of the glare that you see in the photo
above (fig. 27).
SAPFM Where did you obtain your brasses?
DAVIS Ball and Ball.
SAPFM Please describe the bending process?
DAVIS The brass is so highly pierced that I simply flexed it by hand
to fit.
